CARE OF TUBE
STRAIGHTNEE OF TUBE
Bent tube should not be used .Tube should be considered bent if the deviation from a straight line is grater than 15mm in any 3m length .Aluminium tube should not be straightened .The straight parts of a tube may be cut out and re-used,but the remainder should be scrapped.
HEAT TREATMENT OF TUBE
Because aluminium tube is heat treated in manufacture , heat should not be applied to it by welding or flame,uless this is carried out in controlled conditions
